Overview of the RC Consortium

Who We Are

The Resource Centre Network (RCN) Uganda is the nation's dedicated hub for Knowledge Management (KM) within the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector. Hosted by NETWAS Uganda since its inception, the network provides a stable foundation for collaboration among sector players. It was originally conceived following foundational studies by leading organizations IRC WASH and SNV to bridge critical knowledge gaps.

After a period of reduced activity due to funding challenges, RCN Uganda is experiencing a significant revitalization in 2025. Thanks to timely and strategic support from Water for People, the center is re-energized and equipped to fully resume its mission.

Continuing its work in close collaboration with the Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE), UWASNET and the broader WASH community, the revitalized RCN is more committed than ever to enhancing information exchange, promoting evidence-based practices, and ensuring that our collective knowledge drives sustainable WASH services for all Ugandans.
