National Learning Journey - 2011

The National Sanitation Working Group learning journey took place on the 7/09/2011. It focused on Home led Sanitation and private sector involvement in sanitation in urban slums.

It attracted 30 participants from National level, Districts health Departments and selected towns councils, donors private sector and NGOs. They visited Bwaise, an urban slim to analyze, reflect and learn from a sanitation marketing public private partnership between SSWARS, GIZ and Crestanks. Visits were made to the SSWARS-UACT toilets built by SSWARS with funding from EU SPLASP-ERA Net.
